Unable to install Nero 7

I upgraded my Nero OEM licens to Nero 7.9.6.0 and downloaded it.
I've tried to install it in Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista Business, but everytime I try to install it my system either says the file is corrupt or crashed to a BSOD.
I've downloaded the installer several times and I've also tried the english, the swedish and the demo version, but all have the same problem.
The crashes never appear at the same time. Sometimes it's during the extraction of the files, sometimes during the preparing to install face and a couple of times during the actual install.

BSOD's vary between PNL_LIST_CORRUPT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, mostly IRQL's though.

Does anyone have a clue as to what might be the problem?

I tried it at work on a Win XP Pro system and everthing was ok, but no go on my home system.

sounds like there are problems in your computer. are you sure it's stable? try running memtest. i have nero 7.9.6.0 and it installed perfectly.

I've had the system running stable for six months with Windows XP Pro. Played games and used the OEM version of Nero 6 with no problems at all.

Trying to install Nero 7 is another thing.

Ran memtest and the RAM passed.

I flashed the BIOS of the mobo too, still can't install Nero 7.

Edit:
Something's FUBAR with my system. I just tried to install the drivers and software for my X-Fi and I had another BSOD. I'm taking the system back to the store tomorrow.
