Pokey..... I asked the same question on another thread, just copy and open it in your S@H folder and delete 3.08. Driver and spy will pick it up and work with it. The link below was given to me by someone else and it explains the security fix for ver. 3.03. It's fairly easy to do. If you need more help, just ask!!

Just returned from a night out with the "boys" so I hope I get this right.

If you are running SetiDriver, notice the top right button? Yeah, that's it ... the one that says NEW CLIENT.

Copy the "setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe" file and paste it in the same directory that you have SetiDriver.

Open the SetiDriver's GUI and click on NEW CLIENT.

A "Select New CLI Client" window will open. Browse to the "setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe" file and select it. I think you click on OPEN and that should do it. You will have converted over to the 3.03 Client.

Smoke, It appears you "fixed" your setiqueue and I don't need to do anything with hosts file? I am pointed to your queue at the smokeball.dns2go site rather than Berkley.

When I checked my host file it appeared to be a "sample" file without any actual domain names in it. Well, one "127.0.0.1 localhost"

Anyway the point is, I haven't done this step because I don't think I need to.........................

As long as the Q machine has its own HOSTS file fixed, all clients are protected.

I can't speak for anyone else but myself. The Crazee Smoke - TeAm AnandTech SetiQueue has the following line located in its HOSTS file: 66.28.250.122 shserver2.ssl.berkeley.edu
