uninstall failures

Hey y'all,

I'm having trouble uninstalling some software from my pc. Sometimes, when I try to uninstall a program trough the 'Add or Remove Programs' menu, it just doesn't respond, other times it just works fine. For example, I have Battlefield Vietnam on my pc installed, when I hit the Change/Remove button a window pops up for like 10ms (I can't even see what it is) and then nothing happens...and the software remains installed. It's a weird thing. I'm guessing I'm having this problem since I installed SP2, but I'm not sure about that.

So I could go to the Program Files folder and just delete the folder but that wouldn't remove the program completely from my system.

Does anyone know about this problem? Can it be fixed?

Sometimes installed software does not show up in the add/remove programs list.
Navigate to the installed folder , and search for the uninstaller.
Usually it will be located in the main directory , otherwise , you need to look in all available folders in the installed software folder.
Double-click the uninstaller to start the uninstall.
Worse case scenario is to delete all related registry keys, the manually delete installed folder.
You can then run a registry cleaner.
