I need to uninstall Mandrake 7.2 from my hard disk so I need to know how to remove
LILO from MBR (or where ever it is) because that particular HD is going to be only HD
in pure windows machine. I am going to put bigger HD into my dual boot (Win98SE & Linux)
computer. I also has another HD that has somethig left from Linux into MBR because when
I boot from it, it starts to load LILO but never does go further than writing one
unfinished line to screen, so there is clearly something. That particular HD never had
linux in it but it has been in my dual boot computer when I installed Linux to it.
Have you noticed that at some point you will have enough parts to put up second
computer? (Or third, etc..) Isn't upgrading your computer wonderfull thing. Suddenly
you will have one more computer to tinker with. And it doesn't matter it is made
form not-so-up-to-date parts as long as it works
And before you will ask why I don't just install Linux into that "new" putter, I have
to tell you that it's main user will be my girlfriend and she doesn't like to use Linux,
yet. (I am working for it.)
