Has anyone out there ever heard of these people? My Son was given a card to fill out for recognition of his academic achievements. We filled out the card, sent the $50.00 for the book in which his name should be listed, and we have recieved nothing from them other than letters asking for more money. Each time we try to call, the phone is busy. They have a web site, but there isn't much contact happening with that either.

Has anyone dealt with this place, or can you point me to a place that will?

Sounds like a scam. I used to get those offers too. Pay $ to have your name in the National Scholar Association or some bs. Sorry to say it but I think you're out $50.

I got tonnes of these letters in college from these so called "honor societies" and "honor fraternities" My rule of thumb is:
If you got to pay 50 bucks to get in, it aint much of an honor.

Yeah, it's a scam. I think one year, Who's Who Among American High School Students had me listed twice. And think about how many students make up 10% of all American high school students.
