Hey guys, I'm having a very very frustrating issue that happens when I surf the net and play WoW at random. My network will apparently "lose" it's connection and go to a "limited connectivity" state where I can only access the router and sometimes other computers on my network reliably. Below are some of the steps I've taken to fix this problem...
-Called my ISP to see if it was on their end. 3 total calls on the first 3 ocasions. Everything working on their end.
-Did a full reset on my router to retain factory default settings, followed by a firmware update to its latest version. The problem persists...
-Unchecked the "Connect to a more perferred network if available" box under Manage Wireless Networks section...still broke
-Disabled TCP/IP Auto-Tuning (wtf is this anyways)
-Swapped my Wireless adapter completely...WTF STILL NOTHING
I'm out of ideas, so if you guys have any idea what to do, that would be great. I'm ex-geeksquad so you don't have to baby me as far as technical details go.
Also, the dissconects seem to happen in about 30sec-3min bursts, localized just on my machine and not effecting other computers' online access when it happens.
Thanks in advance
