I was just thinking about that also. I don't know if nvidia decided they cover EVGA cards if they limited to 1.35v or not. When Jacob originally said something about the 780 he said there would be no EVBOT support due to the nvidia not giving a warranty on anything over their approved voltages. MSI just doesn't really care and eats the cost of RMA

IIRC it's all due to NV Green light program, you can either opt for it or pass.But non conformance probably has a steep penalty.I believe NV is doing this just to maximize their profits, not offering unlocked voltage on lightning is a crime.
