To be a whistle blower, you have to report illegal activity either to the press, or government authority. Think of it like seeing someone outside littering, blowing a whistle loudly, pointing and yelling - "litterer! Litterer!" Surly this has not gone to court yet and gotten a gag order. Oh wait, OK, I read your post, you ratted on someone, no actual whistle blowing. You do know that whistle blowing involves bringing some infraction to wide attention, not going to your boss and complaining about a coworker, right?
