lol have you seen some of these drug busts? They go further then that. They'd get a warrant, sniff dogs and find the drugs. And cops aren't stupid, if they get there and they can smell it, that will be enough for them to know. They probably know that smell better then their grandma's house.

And since it's HIS property he could potentially be liable so if I were him I would not want them doing it on my property either.
