Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone could give me any opinions/advice. I'm currently on an A64 4000+ with a GF6800GT, and I'm going to be switching to a C2D E6600 and a GF7900GTX soon. I already have the 6600 and the GF7900GTX, so I'm looking for mobo and RAM recommendations pretty much. I'm looking for something stable that I can do a minor o/c on possibly and I am not planning on doing SLI/Crossfire. I also have a Antec TP2.0 480Watt P/S so I'm pretty sure that'll be sufficient power?
I'm currently looking at Asus P5B Deluxe for the motherboard - anyone have any opinions/advice?
For memory...I'm pretty mixed in my decision, but I'm currently looking at the OCZ Gold XTC PC2-6400 5-5-5-12 and the OCZ Platinum XTC PC2-6400 4-5-4-15. Any other suggestions/advice/opinions?
As well - if anyone has any aftermarket CPU coolers they'd like to recommend, I'd love for a look at them I'll be doing a format of Windows prior to the swapping of parts, but if there's anything else please feel free to point it out
Thanks - much appreciated,
DS
