A police officer is reportedly dead following yesterday's violent Washington riots.

Three sources confirmed the death to CNN, although it has not yet

been officially released.

But Minnesota Republican Dean Phillips acknowledged the death on Twitter, claiming he had been advised a US Capitol Police officer died of "injuries sustained in yesterday’s assault on the Capitol".
“My heart goes out to the family of the officer and to all who risk their lives every day to protect and serve our communities with dignity and principle,” Mr Phillips wrote."

I am VERY concerned that it appears this riot MAY HAVE inside connections. How the rioters were able to locate specific offices so fast once entering the Capitol i.e. the office of Nancy Pelosi, appears to be part of an inside job. Could Ted Cruz have texted the rioters the office locations? Probably. Could Trump and or Giuliani haver given the rioters specific office locations? Very possible. BUT... that's not why I came here now. As some already know, I live within a rats nest of Trumpies. My relatives are hard-cord Trump loyalist. Anti-mask, mega-hat, Trump Trumpies BIG TIME. So here is a screen shot of a post between my sister and her 30 year old daughter (my niece). I seen this on the date posted but as with most of their posts, I just ignored it. Now... I wonder ??? And yes, if they could have raised the money for the trip to Washington DC to partake, they certainly would have.
PS. What my sister was bitching about was that most of her posts are tagged and removed by facebook as against Facebook policy. My family posts shit, and FB takes it down.

What really warps my mind is how did he expect this to work without the military? Attack delay the certification process ... a day, then what? Was someone specific supposed to die? Pence? So he could get the military in? I dont get it... can’t possibly be this stupid.

Yes it "failed," but it has revealed deep flaws in the agencies we thought were designed to protect us. They are compromised.

I mean we have seen a rapid, rapid escalation from the right in the past few months. First it was them storming the MI capitol in protest of the lockdowns. Then the plots to kidnap the governors of MI and OH. Then yesterday. Don't forget they were trying the same thing in Washington state too.

And we have had basically zero response to quell this.

The right wing media is still egging it one. They need to pulled off the air for inciting.

If true this was an attempted coup from the top levels of the administration and they should be executed by firing squad on the Washington Mall.

Considering we already know Pence is who authorized the guard, this really just fills in more details about how deep the coup ran.

Yeah, I posted something last night, but basically they were either 1) Incompetent, 2) Cowards or 3) Sympathetic/in on it.

The capital police needs to be relieved of duty and reassigned until an investigation is completed. Not sure who you replace them with at the moment, probably DC Metro and back fill them with NG and loaner state police.

In th video I saw they were coming up the stairs behind them immediately before the shot was fired. They had just arrived as she was trying to climb through the window.
