USB malfunction

I just build a new pc, every things seem to work fine, but when i plug in the zune to put in the music the message pop up usb malfunction. What was cause the malfunction, please help.

PC spec
Gigabyte motherboard (GA-73VM-S2)
cpu E6600
Video card Visiontek hd 2600 pro

Is this a front usb port where you had to connect individual wires to the mb?

Are there there any usb errors noted in device manager?

Will some other usb device work in the same port?

Have you tried the Zune on another usb port?

I had try both front and the others, which are in the back, still got the same message.
