Using Win2k to fdisk / format ?

It's been awhile since I had to fdisk anything and I can't find my floppy anywhere so I stuck win2k in the cd rom, unplgged my old hdds and slapped the new 60Gigger in and now using win2k to format it.

Is there any adverse effects you can think of from this method ?

No bad impact, as there is no floppy disk came with W2K afterall. I always boot and format from W2K CDROM as well.
