Where is it being delivered to? If its an apartment or office, have you checked with the leasing office / receptionist?

I had a package of DVDs shipped USPS from buy.com one time that was claimed delivered but never showed up. I contacted buy.com's customer service and they happily reshipped a new package. The customer service rep said that she had encountered this problem with USPS shipments before.

I am sure I will get the package or a replacement.
I just think the PO around here is horrible.
I used to live in Columbia, SC and UPS to there is fantastic, especially since they are a major shipping hub. I got packages very quickly.

Here in Charleston, the PO is horrible, some of my mail is forwarded, some isn't. Some of the mail for last guy who lived here is forwarded, and some isn't. And, any mail we do get comes after 5pm.

It happened to me not to long ago. Ended up that they did delivered it to a USPS storage facility from where it was then getting delivered from there. In my instance I thought they made a mistake since my zip code was 33125 and the zip code they said it was delivered to was 33152. I called and ended up they were just holding it. They shouldn't put "delivered" until it reaches it's final destination. IMO

I hope one day we have other options to get our mail, besides USPS. Damn maillady has broken the door to the mailbox here twice and the box is only 3mo old, supervisior comes out and comes up with all sorts of "ideas" on how it could have gotten broken other than the maillady. Well, I let her get done and then politely explained to her that I saw the maillady break the door and then throw it on the ground. I've mailed things and paid extra for delivery confirmation and they have said it got delivered; but really didn't. I'm getting really pissed that more than one of the magazines I subscibe to frequently comes either looking read or with ripped pages. They always blame the sorting machines....:roll:
It seems like the more I've complained, the worse shape alot of my mail has arrived in.

USPS fvcked up once with my delivery. i was expecting a monitor from someone in TX. He should've took 3-5 days coming to philly and i had a tracking number. last known destination was philly and i called my local post office and they said they dont have it.

luckily the seller was nice enough to send another one which arrive 3 days later.

sometimes they scan the package as delivered before putting it onto your delivery person's vehicle, so you might get it tomorrow or something

yea that happen to me once...they scanned the item, it couldnt fit into my mailbox, i guess he didnt wana get out and leave it on my front door, but i got it the next day.

It already is tommorrow.
The package was "delivered" Wednessday.

Tracking says the package was delivered on June 23.

On the 24 I called to inquire and they said they would callme by the close of buisness the next day.

On the 25 at the close of buisness, I had yet to recieve a call, so I called them.

They have no information, but now say expect a call in 2-3 days.

I understand your pain but it could have been delievered to your neighbor. You know how they misread number once in awhile because when you're in a hurry mistake like this happens often.

FedEx pulled that shlt on me, but I've NEVER had UPS do it. Get what you pay for I guess.

no that USPS is it? USPS tracing is just a joke. If it's valuable, don't trust it to USPS delivery confirmation...all your .35 tells you is that yes, the package was delivered someplace, but not necessarily where you were expecting it...
