No - the SE was a limited run, but in response to the overwhelming demand for this game to be on DVD, they released the DVD version in the US. This is just the game - no special box or headset.

In short, I'd say that playing without a headset isn't a major problem. If used as intended, it would probably make things more fun/coordinated/etc.

So I'm guessing that there's no private channels for a buddy or two and theres no /ignore /squelch functions. Thanks for the info.
