So I fired up UT2K4 the other day and, wow that game is still one of my favourite. What most amazed me is the graphics still looking pretty awesome, granted I'm playing at max 1280x1024 4xAA 16xAF but those levels looked awesome and were cruising at like 70fps. Congrats to developers on making an awesome replayable game with lots of content to keep me happy Cant wait to see what they dish up for us in the Unreal 3 incarnation.

I'm with you. I love the game, I've played almost every day since release, and am still not bored with it. That was the best $40 for software I ever spent. It would've still been a bargain if it cost $100.

I'm hoping ut2k7 ends up getting delayed. It sounds like they're changing some things that don't suit my tastes. I'll still preorder it, but I'm having too much fun with 2k4 to be in much of a hurry to get it.

Same here, been playing almost every day for about the last year and a half. I've been finally getting around to playing some of my other games like Far Cry, Max Payne 2 and Call of Duty, but UT2004 still gets play time nearly every day. Awesome game and there's lot so great free mods and total conversions for it too. Check out the Damnation single player conversion if you haven't yet; it's great.

UT2k4 = teh awesomeness.

I am still playing at minimum a few hours every week ever since it came out.

What i love is how i can play @ 1600x1200 with 4x AA & 8X AF @ holy ****** settings on my X850XT PE, & it looks sooooo good

The newer games like BF2 & FEAR run like crap at the those settings, & don't even look at that much better IMO.

I'll check it out. You guys should try UT2004 |PIG| w/ low gravity, multi-dodge, XxxX ESR, XxxX trans, air control, etc.
