Amazon.com has Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines on sale right now for $9.99. It still seems to be a popular game considering it's a few years old.

This game is a very fun game, the problem with it was that the developers abandoned it even though it was still glitchy. Fortunetely, the mod community stepped up. They basically fixed all of the problems that this game had with mods, and added quite a few very interesting modifications as well. I highly recommend this game and then get on something like gamers hell and get the mods.

This is an excellent game at an excellent, anyone that hasn't played it is missing out. I just hope someone comes out with a "good" sequel eventually

Very good, and interesting game. Nice ending song by Lacuna Coil as well. For $10 it's a steal.

It's not an FPS, it's third person. It is an RPG though, like Deus Ex.

EDIT >> It's both First and Third person, actually.

if you get titan Quest you really need to get the expansion pack as immortal throne.


immortal throne fixes all the bugs ...... TQ has some serious crash/bug issues.

Actually that's not true (with regards to titan quest) the patches fix the bugs (you do need to patch). However, the expansion offers a lot and it is pretty cheap these days ... so I highly recommend it.

to each his own ..... but i tried ever version of every patch and stop trying to get it to work for months.


then immortal throne came out and got cheap so it was my last attempt. It solved everything with not so much as a peep of a bug. :shrug:

so with me it's was the expansion pack that made the difference.

Great deal for a great game-stopped playing about 3/4 through in April and haven't had a chance to finish it yet. But, from what I've played, it has relatively deep character development (not quite as deep as Elder Scrolls, but then again thats like comparing a big mac to a filet mignon) and a surprisingly engrossing storyline. It even has a couple times where I crapped my pants (specifically the haunted oceanside hotel-that was f*cking creepy).
Other games that may interest those who like bloodlines:
PC: neverwinter nights 2 (also has expansion recently released)
PC/xbox360: elder scrolls 4: oblivion

Ok, I just edited the post. A nice stocking stuffer for all your friends. Just make sure to tell them to get one of the patches before playing; the game was a little bit buggy when released.

Here's another decent title for a stocking stuffer. Battlefield 1942 Complete Collection is also $9.99

Thanks, but now I have the problem of trying to finish Psychonauts (free on Gametap), then Thief: Deadly Shadows (free on Gametap), then Ratch and Clanket on PS3. Plus, I have 3 more games on the way from Amazon. Aaaarrrrrrgggghhhh, my wife is going to kill me.
