I didn't read most of his posts, because he was arguing about arguing, not about VGA Cooling. Notice my posts are primarily about ramsinks and VGA cooling.

I'm not a fight starter. I discuss hardware. I own the hardware in question. Hardwarrior does not. Yet he calls me a fanboy because I think that the VGA Silencer is amazing. It's a pretty simple situation. He's being beligerant.

The only contact I had with BoomAM was consulting him about reporting this thread, because it got WAY off topic, and way innappropriate.

Yeah but his fanboy comment wasn't really an insult aimed directly toward you where the "smart ass" was aimed directly at him.

See, the problem is, Hardwarrior, that you entered this thread, with personal knowledge of the Zm80c-hp, or the VGA Silencer. You just said they were both bad, because they didn't cool the ram, and those who thought otherwise were fanboys. That was the aggressive first move.

Maybe if you could maintain a civil tone, this whole thread wouldn't be so offensive. But you persist in using terms like, "Thumb sucking baby" and "fat mouth." It's very immature.

Wrong again Einstein. I said I was LOOKING at the Zalman solution, nothing more. Nope I didn't say any such thing, I simply wondered why the VS could be viewed as amazing without a RAM cooling option or system. In both review I read, the reviewer had the same concern. Nope and AGAIN, I didn't call you a fanboy. Can you read? Oh, now I have the burden of being civil, while you and the retard CONTINUE to dump on me? You're wrong about RAM coolers. Look at pictures of any high-end, high-frequency solution and you'll notice that some sort of RAM cooling is always present.

For cooling(The GPU) the VGA Silencer is the better option. The Zalman is good for quiet cooling.
Having owned and used both products on my 9700pro, i have the follwing comments;
There are theorys for both that`d support better cooling of the ram with both.
For example, it can be argued that the Zalman with a fan bracket, will blow air over the mem chips. BUT, the air being blown over would most likely be 60-70% hotair that has been disipated from the Zalman heatsinks.
The VGA Silencer, it can be argued that it sucks out the hotair, meaning that a much lower percentage of hotair is blown accross the mem chips, BUT there is no direct fan normally blowing directly on the chips to put that cool(er) air on the chips.
An ideal solution that`d cool both the core and mem, would be to buy a VGA Silencer, and a Zalman ZM123 fan bracket, that comes with a 92mm fan.
That way hot air is expelled and cool air is blown on the mem. For optional better performance/quietness. Putting some "cheap" ramsinks on the mem & voltage regulators (Such as the coolermaster CRC-U001 Copper ramsink packs), will allow better cooling on the ram, and then it`d be possible to turn the included 92mm Zalman fan to 7v, which makes it near silent. That is what ive done to my 9700pro, and no-part of it ever gets hot to the touch.
