via 4in1 drivers

do these drivers increase performance a lot?
i just re-installed win2k, and im contemplating whether i should install em or not.

I use 4.28 and Im fine. Some people have "issues" with 4.29 but others say it runs even better with those. Try a few out.

If you believe you are not getting the performance you should be getting..
It wouldn't hurt to install them. They will offer a performance increase.

Umm, yeah dud2k, we are definatly going to need to see your pc specs. The 4 in 1's are not going to be a good thing to install on a BX system. Post your specs, and we WILL be able to help you more.

actually i have a biostar m7mke and i did the via 4 in 1 update twice. both times it crashed my comp. caused freezes 20 seconds after windows booted up.. oh well no 4 in 1 - at least for me.

The AOpen AX64 is a VIA Apollo Pro chipset so use the Via 4 in 1 drivers,the best ones for Win2000 are the Via 4.29 drivers.

Use the 4.29s, but dont install the ide drivers, and yes they hugely increase 3d performance.
