Video Card Decision Time

I'm building a new PC and the graphics card choice is giving me the biggest headache of all. Reliability, heat, power consumption, noise level, size, performance (mostly business apps, graphics (AutoCAD, Adobe, etc), gaming compatibility (mostly Quake & Unreal...) and cost are all over the map. I'd appreciate expert advise on whether I'm making the best decisions here:

This is easy because of the motherboard you are getting. P45 will not support SLI so you can not run 2*8800GT. You could get 2*4850 or 1*GTX260. SLI and Crossfire do not work in all games so ussually you are better off with one video card.

As computer dude says, you can't use dual 8800GT on that motherboard. I suggest a single HD4870 or a single GTX 260 for ~$285

The 4870 was bumped off due to its heat and power consumption. Back to the drawing board...
