Justified imo as she fired a round and was pointing at innocent peeps.
Good job cops.
I don't have a problem with using the car to de-escalate the situation, and knock her down, as they did.I don't have a problem with it. De-escalated the situation quickly and without any serious bloodshed.
All those cars should have been tanks.I think you need more people with guns...
That’s because she had the audacity to fire at them.I don't have a problem with using the car to de-escalate the situation, and knock her down, as they did.
I do however, have a problem with them pushing her to the ground, to get her on her belly, when she already subdued herself to them, and was already on her knees with her hands behind her back, so she can be handcuffed. That was unnecessary, an may lead to police brutality chargesbecause all he had to do was cuff her. (Watch the full video).
When did she fire at them? As that was never in the video, nor did the police say that during the press conference. The gun went flying when she was hit by the car, which she was pointing it at others and herself (not firing it) prior to being hit, so she didn't even have it when she was on her knees waiting to be handcuffed. That’s because she had the audacity to fire at them.
Super glad she is black because now I can feel better about my racism. I'm going to post it on every website I can find.
From the comment by the OP. I haven’t watched the video. When did she fire at them? As that was never in the video, nor did the police say that during the press conference. I highly doubt the cop executed the hit with any precision. It was luck that he only glanced here and not run her over. They do not train on how to hit a person.I think this was likely the best possible course of action and outcome. The cop placed the car on her perfectly to knock her down without significant injury.
There was a white guy shot/killed by police in OKC a few years back under an almost identical situation.
I'm guessing if he wanted to plow her over he would have. It doesn't take much skill to hit someone with the middle of your bumper. He was very obviously trying to hit her on the side, with the corner.I highly doubt the cop executed the hit with any precision. It was luck that he only glanced here and not run her over. This is good thinking but my counter would be that every time a black person commits a crime a white racist should be picked at random and thrown in jail. It's only logical. They fucked up people with skin color that is genetically superior for living in solar radiation intensive environments and often more pleasing to the eye. How else do you account for President Orangutan?Super glad she is black because now I can feel better about my racism. I'm going to post it on every website I can find.
Just because this one is naked, shooting in traffic and acting wild, dont call her crazy:Super glad she is black because now I can feel better about my racism. I'm going to post it on every website I can find.
So, rather than watching the video to find out the facts, you believed what the OP said, who btw is a know liar. From the comment by the OP. I haven’t watched the video.

I get that there are a lot of shitty cops, but give them credit when they do something right. They could've shot and killed her with no consequence and instead a cop put himself in harms way and brought her in with minor injuries.
The tackling does seem a little over the top in the full video, but I think that is kind of SOP for felony arrests like that (not saying it should be, though). That also wasn't the cop that hit her.

My apologies, I rewatched it, she actually dropped it as she got up and got in to position on her knees to be handcuffed. Firing in the air, if she did, which had to be prior to the video, if it did happen, does not equal to shooting at the police as soundforbjt claimed. He said She shot at them..Can't vouch for the accuracy but the article below says she fired in the air once. "police say the 33-year-old crossing the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and Bellmore Avenue fired a gun once in the air."
I watched the video several times and I did not see the gun go flying when she was hit. I did see what appeared to be the gun being picked up by a policeman from what looks like the spot where she was kneeling before they put her on her stomach.
Long Island cop hits person with cruiser after pointing gun at others, firing: Video
A Long Island officer behind the wheel of a police cruiser ran down a person Tuesday afternoon, and officials say it was not an accident. Traffic came to a complete stop on the busy North Bellmore intersection after the individual was caught on video pointing a gun at everyone in her path...www.nbcnewyork.com
