video problems...

when i try to play quake 3 or kingpin i crash...

the server loads but when i press a key the games just crash.. i have to press spacebar to get back into windows..

i have a p3 450, 128mb ram, maxi xentor tnt2 ultra... i'm running the xentor drivers right now.. but they crash with the nvidia drivers also...

this just started happening a couple days ago.

how can i fix this problem?

Just a plain old drop back to the desktop or does it report an error of any kind?

You haven't changed anything at all in the past few days?

it doesn't go back to the desktop.. it freezes and then the game sound just keeps repeating itself.. then when i press spacebar i get back into the desktop

are you sure it's a video problem? could be a corrupt game file somewhere?
