I have a family member who's looking to do some video editing using mostly free software. What would you guys suggest would be the minimum graphics card for this application? I imagine most free applications won't have any gpu acceleration.
If this is true (it is difficult to find relevant information about this, even for commercial software), then he should get the best CPU that he can afford and use the integrated graphics.
