visiontek rma

hi, my xtasy ti 4600 recently died on me and I am wondering if anyone was able to rma a nvidia card without any receipt since this was given as a gift so the date of purchase and place of purchase is unknown.
If anyone have rma with visiontek lately can u please shed some light as to how their procedure works and let me know if it is possible to rma without receipt or know the place of purchase ect....
Any help would be appreciated.

As far as the companies I have delt with, none of the video card makers have asked me for a reciept when RMA'ing a video card. Id just call up there tech support and see what they can do for you.

call there support line, tell them the card went bad,... and see what they say, visiontek i think still honors RMA's of nvidia cards..

but i cant remember.

I sent them an email and they listed a few thing that I need inorder to get a rma#.
They requested for the receipt, date of purchase and where item was purchased but heck its been awhile and i dont' have the receipt , nor do I remember the place or date i brought it from.
Anyone else that have input on this and was able to rma without any of the above info please help.

dude, just think about what they might do to your 4600, havent you seen that stuff they say about nvidia on their website. well, heck i guess if if it is already shot then go for it:beer:

yeah , that thign about nvidia was hella funny. Well the card cannot be worse than dead lol so i figure i need to send it back in. Just not sure if they will take it without receipt and info on date and place of purchase.
Please, someone must of rma with visiontek lol, they sold many nvidia card before.
