Voodoo 5500 (agp) DVD performance???

I've heard/read mixed things about this--what have you found running WinDVD 2000 or SoftDVD & the Voodoo 5? I'm considering buying one for a client's system who likes flight sims & watching DVD's; can you have the best of both worlds (or close) with this card?

V5 is good for flight sims cause it has good FSAA. It really doesn't have DVD acceleration, but for someone who's getting a V5, they probably have a CPU that is fast enough to software decode anyway.
