gamespot is watching this contest very carefully and they will count and recount after its all said and done. my bet is that all those people who voted more then once will get discounted. gamespot should not have let us see the percentages. since 90% gordon fans are computer gamers im gonna say that more votes for gordon are going to get discounted and link will come out on top since most people that vote for link will do so honestly since most of us dont know how to cheat. cheating really doesnt affect the percentages till the end. So, because HL is on PC, that means that PC gamers cheated the scoring system because Nintendo players could never cheat or hack!

Link will win, the only people to disagree are those 18-20 something year old who start playing videogames 5 or 6 years ago, and are just "fanboys" of sony and microsoft and haters to nintendo, why? because they don't know anything about games, they just want the same thing over and over again, hq gory shooters, I'm just 16 and I can safely say I know three times about games that this new "gamers", yeah gamers are not those who play ps3 and 360 games only, and claim those to be the best just because of hardware or stuff, gamers are those who started with a nes or snes an now they have both wii and either sony and microsoft, those people truly know how to rate a game and know which franchise is the best, because here in game hero we are looking for both quantity and quality, not just one or two hit games of this generation where any game can be a "hit".

not really. Link easy. The story of HL is weak the games are fun but the storys arent really needed. And the multiplier is what made the games so popular.
Link on the other hand has been around longer and has way better stories and games. And I love HL but come on insert any random 3d shooter char and the games are just as good.

The story of HL isn't needed? I wouldn't even play the HL games if it weren't for the story/characters.. otherwise it would just be a typical rail FPS.. and, for me, would suck. I don't really care for FPS games, but I love the HL series. Having said that, Link is still pretty cool, Ocarina of Time is one of my favorite games of all time, but I was a PC gamer long, long before I was a true console gamer - so I may have to go with Gordon overall.
