W2k Boot Disks wont work....

I have just set BIOS settings on my new computer. Now I want to install Windows 2k on it. I tried putting in Boot Disk #1, but it gave an error message reading "Disk I/O Error". I tried making a boot disk on a differen floppy, but same result. What is wrong?

ALSO: I just tried a Windows98 Boot Up Disk and it worked......

why not set your bios to boot cd first and boot the w2k cd to install the os?

If you still want to boot from the disks (booting from CD is MUCH easier), try running SCANDISK on the floppy....could be a file problem.
