saw loads of cute little tamar wallabies while visiting my folks over East, they are indeed a billionty times cuter than roos.

Roo is very nice done properly

Years ago i went to a place that served loads of native stuff, Possum is very gamey, crocodile tasted a bit like chicken, witchety grubs were nasty, and emu was very oily, i can't remember what else we tried tho...
