the $50 case comes with an Antec SmartPower 300W (i heard this was okay, decent but not great).
the sonata $90 case comes with an Antec TruPower 380W (awesome power supply)

$50 case looks like the lan boy. 300W smart power is a decent PSU. that runs about $40-50 alone

the $50 case comes with an Antec SmartPower 300W (i heard this was okay, decent but not great).

I've got a dual amd rig 2x 1700+chips @ 2250mhz each running off that 300 watter for the last 6 months.

Surprised the hell out of me that it even fired up, Volts are dead on in the HW monitor, doesnt get hot. If it aint broke dont fix it.

I tried a true power 550 in it later and volts were worse so i switched it back and sold the 550. go figure.

$49.99 is a great deal on this case.

but i do like the antec 3700's better now.

No fan but really nice open hole mounts for 2 80mm's.

Why does everone think they need a 500+ watt power supply, I have one in my vapo with a tec running on it. But for the hell of it i put a fortron 350watt to try it out.

And i also stated above that i have a duallie AMD @ 2250mhz per chip running on this supply for 6 months.

Unless your talking about selling the PS for $30 or so and putting a junker in there.

Im a mod @ Xtremesystem.org in the overclocking fourms and TEC and Watercooling. if any of you need some help
come join.

I use the SLK2600 for all my customers budget computers. You cannot beat it. Screw those $20 and $30 case deals on here. Unless you have a good PS it will cost you in returns or parts.

I also got in on the $65 shipped NewEgg Antec SLK3700AMB case w/350W power supply & 120mm case fan. I just opened the box today - very nice case. This is my first PC build, so I'm looking forward to getting busy. A 26 lb. case shipped for free! Now that's sweet.

Now to find a good mobo/processor deal. The hunt continues ...

Nice price on an Antec case. I have had the 3700 for abot 6 months now and love it. The 120mm fans push so much air and the paint is quite nice, you really have to see it to know what I mean.
