was this my fault?

so i was about 1/2 way done on my 13.3 mile run and im running on a sidewalk when i see 2 girls biking towards me. they were like 13 or something around that age. thinking that they are princesses they kept comming towards me. at this point one was behind the other.
so i went as far right as possible until i couldnt go any further as i would have ran into trafic. then like 10 feet before i passed the girls the one behind the first one turns right into my path. she had a good like 4 seconds to see me and get back out of my way but didnt. as a result i received some small cuts and lots of tire marks on my leg. after i passed them all i heard was "WTF" and "watch were you f**cking going", but i didnt yell anything back.

so am i at fault here or are girls getting bit**ier each decade thinking they own everything. btw im 17
