But it's not a traditional/classic/conservative design.

I'm considering an Antea 365 at some point in the future. Although if I wait too long, I might just get the real deal Nomos Tangente/tangomat for graduation

i would say, if you were budgeting the nomos, you could get the antea for that bauhaus style and still buy another mid-range watch to switch it up@

I came in here just to post that watch. If I were to get a dress watch the Stowa would be it thought I can't help feel it is a little expensive for what you get. Still, when it comes to watches you are almost always paying all your money for the style and I have not found a watch that matches the Stowa for what I want.

You're welcome to pay more for a Nomos . They look exactly the same except its more than twice as expensive.

Looking at the Nomos though, and they use in-house movements so that would command an increase in the price. With the Stowa, they use ETA and you have to cough up an extra $300 USD for a chronometer movement. It would be interesting to see how the movements compare.
That would be a G-shock.Originally posted by: Sea Moose

I have a Tag that is not too bad for a professional environment. I would like a Rolex or Omega next, I am not a fan of leather bands however.
Same here, I have a tag and it looks good in the office and outside of work casually.
I'm a big fan of leather band watches. I only have 1 leather band watch (Bulova), but a piece of the dial is broken, so I dont wear it anymore. I'd like to get another leather band watch; I think they look very classy.
I have a Tag too. This one. Great business/casual watch.

Skagen, hands down. Titanium band, black or gunmetal. Ultra-light, ultra-thin, ultra-durable.

Good fuck! I think I'd die before I'd spend this much on a FRIGGING WATCH. Sure, I agree that a man must have a good watch and a very good one at that, but spending this much?! Jesus... You sirs are crazy. Clearly you have extra money floating around that's coming in with not too much effort. I'm just fine and dandy with my $120 Seiko. It has been serving me well for 10 years now and still going strong, while looking very modern and professional.

Shit... And after all this, people are going around saying American economy is failing and people are not doing well financially...

it looks REALLY slick when dressed up. i don't wear it very often but when i do i think it looks really sharp. i actually wore it this morning to an interview with my suit, and it was noticeable as I was writing down some stuff on paper and my sleeve rose a little.

In the grand scheme of things, that's a cheap watch.
