Hi all!
I was just thinking, my S/ORB makes a lot of noise. It does not do such a hell of a good job. With my case open and stuff like that, I can run my Duron 650@1050, 1.85V that is.
But with the case closed, I can't get more than 950-970, since I cannot run it at 1.85V, it just gets too hot. And at 950, it is completely stable but when I run RC5 cracking, wich I do all the time, the temp. hovers around 64 C. Which is not good of course.
/edit - of course, i could add some case fans, but that makes it alot more noisy. sucks - edit/
So what I was thinking is this:
Get a 72W peltier
get a watercooler CPU block.
get some tubes.
get a small refridgerator.
get a waterpump.
get a small size bucket.
put the pump in the bucket
put the bucket in the fridge
make holes for the tubes in the fridge's door and the comp. case
connect the tubes to the fridge and the comp
suggestions to this. in my mind this could make my system more clockable, I'd run it stable at 1050 and it would be less noisy.
what do I have to think about when building a watercooled system? how to isolate the CPUblock and tubes? is anyone running a watercooled system?
plz, suggestions and ideas!
thanks
