Says he still holds to his core values of fighting government waste and defending individual freedoms. I don’t know much about the man, so I will find out, but hopefully he is a bellwether of defectors! The downside is he says he is still a passionate TEA partier, so that part seems a little inconsistent and troubling.

He was a big tea party Republican and supported Trump in 2016 but to his credit he has been anti-Trump for years now, since like 2018.

He is the kind of Republican we need - I don't agree with him on much of anything when it comes to policy but we DO agree when it comes to democracy and the rule of law, and I'll take it. Country first, deal with Walsh's shitty policy ideas second.

There was some rumbling he might mount a futile Senate bid in SC to oust Lindsay Graham, so the whole thing seems like one big grift.

I don't doubt he is against the GOP, but hard to take him seriously if he tries to raise a ton of money for a unobtainable Senate seat.
