is there a way for my family all over the country do a webcam reunion?
we all can chat and see each other, and of course most of the family
will have boardband.
any ideas?? is it possible?

I use Spotlife to broadcast my cam. If everyone has a cam and uses it, then I guess theorectically(SP?) you could watch each other. Otherwise, is it possible for you to use NetMeeting or something?

netmeeting is free in windows and only works for 2 people at a time, nate being a n00b doesn't know better

cuseeme however works for a bunch of people at a time, but is also fairly expensive, i think $50 per copy?

I don't know why but I can never connect to the server in netmeeting. It makes no sense.

I think I have seen some webcam that comes with that software.

You can do multi to multi audio/video conferencing with CUSeeMe with a reflector setup (at least you used to need a reflector). Look up CUSeeMe, and read up.

There is also this thing called the Access Grid for multi to multi conferencing. However, it requires that everyone is running Linux.

NetMeeting can also do multi-node A/V using either CUSeeMe servers, or MS Exchange Conferencing Server. However, since CUSeeMe has been purchased, I can no longer figure out how to start a multi-node A/V conference...all I seem to find is information instead of services.

supesman, you question was answered here...there is no public ILS server hosted by MS anymore, hasn't been for almost two years now. You need to use a different ILS server, use MSN Messenger, or dial direct from the Call menu.

and have everyone stream their cams. then everyone go to someones personal space, and cklick on the peeps u wwanna see. their site will tell you how to do the stuff
