Oops... i looked again in IE. The Newsflash, Poll & Who's Online are forced down to the bottom of the page. The top of the Newsflash box is about even with "Read More".

Blue looks better with what you have now.

Yes, it must have been a change I made in the last 24 hours. I see what you mean about the news flash and poll

Looking good to me. I would suggest a more detailed top image, but thats just me. Everything else seems good to me.

Yes it needs a better banner.

I think the problem with IE6 is this is a fixed width template I'm using but not sure yet

Ok I think I got the IE6 Newsflash and Poll fixed. But I am wondering if this fixed width template is going to be a problem. It is designed for 1024 wide. Does anyone use a 80 x 600 resolution anymore or is that pretty much a thing of the past?

A couple pieces of advice from what I can see.

1) Don't go with a red logo and a blue page. Pure Red (255, 0, 0) clashes too much with most blues.

2) For your nav bar, differentiate between the selected category image and the mouse-over image. The difference can be as simple as the small colored bar on the right of the category image. It just simply doesn't feel right to have the same style.

3) Maybe change the login button to an image for aesthetics? Not really a big deal, just something that'd be nice. You could also do the same for the poll.

4) Like other said, for detailed images, make sure they can be viewed in a larger manner whether in a pop-up when clicked, a hover-over enlarge javascript bubble thing or a link to the image in the same window.

Oh and is this powered by Mambo? It really looks and acts like it .

Joomla which from what I understand is the same thing as Mambo.

Logo not set in stone but I like the general idea. The site was red and can't decide what color to change it to.

I don't like the banner. Going to look for something more graphic tonight

Going to change the mouseover.

Hadn't thought of the login button, good idea.

Thanks

Ok I have made some additional changes. I converted the entire site to the blue scheme and got rid of the banner completely in favor of simple red text.

I am going to take some snapshots and replace the image at the bottom and make is so that when you click on it, it will open a larger view

Any opinions?

Thanks

Just wanted to make sure I was clear. I would like contacts for someone to do the logo. Any suggestions?

Hi, me again

I changes the logo and have tried to smooth things up in general. There is absolutely no red in the website now. What do you think?

Thanks

You mean against the gray background of the menu

What color should I change to or do you think I should just bold the text

Thanks for the comment

No offense, but the site looks just as bad as it did a month ago since your coding skills are extremely limited. My advice would be to pay a reputable company or individual to complete the project and write it off as a business expense.
