Weird feedback on my PVR

I finally got everything I need to get my homemade PVR up and running. I have video and everything and the Vista remote works great. But, I'm getting a weird audio feedback on the thing, whether watching live TV or recorded programs. As well, during live tv the audio doesn't match up to the picture, but the trailing/ghost audio does matches up just fine. However, during recorded stuff, it's just the opposite, the ghost doesn't match up and it gets quite annoying. Basically it sounds like the following:
"Maybe I should have been nervous...*quieter* maybe I should have been nervous"

It's really starting to annoy me and I'm considering taking this stupid thing back to the store, as it's been more hassle than it's worth. But, I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I have a PVR-150 and I'm using it in Vista with media center and a media center remote.
I have everything connected as follows:

PVR-150 audio connection to splitter/splitter into green audio out on AC'97
PC speakers to other side of splitter/splitter into green audio out on AC'97
RCA (R/W) connected to back of the "audio out" on Motorola DCT 2224 cable box, converted into minijack, minijack into blue audio in connection on AC'97

I've tried a bunch of different combos concerning connection of the cables, but none of them work properly, or work the same as described above.
Here's a crappy diagram I drew...

I'm wondering if it's the onboard sound, but so far, it's my only option. I have an old Creative X-Gamer 5.1, but Creative didn't make any drivers for it, so the audio I get with it is usually staticy.

How does your motorola box connect to your HTPC, it should either be by the coax cable, or the s-video / composite cable. If coax, you should not need, any audio going to your HTPC. If s-video you need to plug in your audio from your motorola box into your PVR-150. You should not be plugging your Motorola box into your sound card.

Thanks.

Now I just feel like an idiot. I can't believe I didn't even think of such a simple thing to do, had no idea why I thought the 150 plugged into the sound card.

I connect via RCA cables, so needed the audio separate. Thanks, I can't believe how simple it was. I just feel so stupid now...

While I'm at it, I have one more question: For some reason, my guide is an hour behind. I have to set my PC time to an hour before the actual time, otherwise the guide shows the wrong programs at the wrong time.

What I mean is, if I have my computer set to the proper time, say 6PM, the guide will show me what's on at 7PM, but claim that it's 6PM. If I set it an hour behind, it'll show me what's on at
5PM, when it's actually showing me the proper shows for 6PM.

I'm just here to help, because I spent way too many hours getting my HTPC setup to work, I'm just glad to know how things work. Any more questions?

Nope, thanks for helping me resolve this. Much appreciated.
I pissed away a good few many hours today after work trying to figure this problem out.

Thanks

Oh, one last thing, actually. Where does VistaMCE save programs if say I wanted to burn them or transfer them to another PC?

I mean whatever I record. Say I record "The Office", where can I find it on my harddrive to burn it to a DVD? Or does MCE have the ability to burn discs on its own?

Nevermind...figured it out.

"duh"

Actually, I still question as to how to get it off my HDD without burning it.

Like, say I wanted to put a show I've recorded onto my flash drive, how would I do that?

You can only play it on the computer you recorded it on. They are saved as .avi-ms files (I believe) and they can be stripped of their DRM.
Search your computer for "Recorded TV" and that should find the folder.
