Weird? Limited edition XBox? Japanese?

Now your probally going to ask me what you would do with a Japanese Xbox when u could have an American one. And i wouldnt know the answer BUT if you a collector and you like these rare things or if you want to just sell it on eBay i dont really care. Well never the less i saw this and thought it would be intresting, its a limited edition Xbox which means they have to stop making them some time! so in time it might be worth money!

I've ordered from Lik-Sang before and they are very reliable, but i've never ordered from Hk-ems and i heard their shipping is a bit outrageous. Plus the absense of a shopping cart is a turn off. You may want to seek more information about the companys yourself.

Another speical feature: The box is WHITE! (people on ebay might get a kick at that!)

Its looks just like a regular xbox. . . but with a Bill Gates dog tag (?) included. I hear that japanese women cant keep their hands off a guy wearing one of those shiny little tags of testosterone. . .

The controller for the Japanese XBOX is smaller too and buttons are placed differently. Also, you will need to spend extra for video signal converter since it was made for Japanese TV's and will not work in US out of the box.

Really? I have a few friends with Japanese PS2s - they don't have any problems with the video cable. Doesn't the Xbox have standard RCA video connectors? Japan has the same NTSC broadcast standard as the US (though TV channel frequencies are different). I haven't had a problem using any Japanese market video equipment in the US.

I use to live in Japan, our tvs work perfectly on their systems (whether it be vcrs, broadcast, or counsoles).

Japan and US both use NTSC signals/refresh rates. It will work fine on US television sets.

FYI, I highly discourage ordering from Lik-Sang. I order from them on a semi-regular basis -- in the past 2 months, all my packages from Lik-Sang have been held by customs. One was released when I called UPS and whined for an hour, the other is still in limbo. Supposedly, customs have been informed that all packages from Lik-Sang contain products which violate the Digital Millenium Copyright Act or whatever it's called.

Order it elsewhere cheaper.
