Also, with a budget of $500, SLI is a waste of money. You will spend over $200 on just the board and the cheapest SLI capable video card is the 6600GT, which is around $175. That would only leave you with ~125 for RAM and a CPU.

I'm running 1GB Corsair Value select PC3200 and like others have mentioned it's very good RAM
