It's the best bottom shelf stuff I have found yet, works great as a mixer.Old crow isn't bad. It's just Beam that isn't as old. But, since it is Straight Bourbon, it's aged at least 2 years.

There's no reason to put bourbon "better" than old crowe in a mixed drink. You're doing it right.

Can we get ruling on what counts as a mixed drink? Are old fashioned(s) and Manhattans mixed drinks? Technically they aren't straight, but the amount of mixers are small. Particularly in the old fashioned.
