I think I'm going to take 2 courses this semester, so this means I'll be a part-time student.

1) I can take courses at night starting around 6-7 PM MTWTh (one class per day)

or

2) I can take one of those courses on Tues & Thursday afternoon.. so my schedule then will be 2 classes on Tuesday & Thurs. One will be at 2:30 PM and the other around 7 PM... almost a 4 hour break in between but I'll have MWF off.

With option 1, I can take on a full time job if I wanted to.. with option 2, I can only consider part-time employment.

No, I don't have but I feel like I should. I don't have much else going on so I'm bored. Too much free time wasted and I could use the $$. More experience for my resume, too. A part-time position would be perfect but what corporations even have those?

I'd definitely do option 1. I cannot stand long breaks like that between classes. I don't do work well when I'm in a setting like a library; I am much more efficient at home.

Is there still time for you to find a FT job?

If his school is anything like mine, it'll go until the 2nd to last week of May. Plenty of time to search for a FT position, continue with it during the summer, and then do whatever during the fall.

I'd say roll the dice and start looking for an intern position then, since it seems he wants the $$$/experience. I'd change my vote to option 1 then if I could.

Everything was done last minute.. even the class registration, the class times, and I just moved here so I didn't get a chance to plan much. I could've started interviewing months ago and possibly have a job lined up in this city but I didn't know I would be in this situation. I've been applying to various companies online.. hoping to hear some kind of response back

I'm trying to get a full time/PT position that starts asap.. so it's not that easy to find

Get one like mine http://schedule.csh.rit.edu/?s=VERHFYd

Leaves time for work (and Propulsion is easy although Robotics is kicking my butt cause I can't code worth a damn). Fridays I don't really have class there. It's just scheduled in there so we have a day free to work on our projects.

option 2 looks better, but if you think you'll have an easier time getting full time work with option 1, then for sure go with option 1.

I used to HATE night classes - they were just so long. I never had class friday, and ended up dropping every Thursday night class I signed up for. It just didn't work.

Afternoon classes are the best. You could still work plenty, it doesn't have to be full time.
