What drug?

So I've been told by someone that they can potentially die if they drink alcohol.

What medication might this be? I realize that there may be a lot but what is the most likely?

There was a customer on a serious antibiotic, that said the same thing. Looked it up and there could be a possibility of dying.

Most common fatal combo with alcohol for non-narcotic. via the heavy burden it places on the liver.

Narcotics can be deadly in combo due to respiratory comprimise.
Some antibiotics can have decreased metabolism with alcohol ingestion esp heavy or daily, leading to increase levels and a side effect on cardiac conduction. (Prolonged Q-T phase) This can lead to deadly heart rhythms.
As for daily meds, some of the psych meds will also prolong the QT.

What does that most likely treat? I'm seeing that it doesn't do yeast.

Yeah any paracetamol containing product and a big dose of ethanol can be fatal.

Any barbiturates (phenobarbital), benzodiazepines (xanax) or pain killers (both narcotic and non) can do it in sufficient quantities. Respiratory or CNS depression, enough and you quit breathing.

Anything bacterial. Yeast in fungal.

A friend of a friend (I don't personally care for the guy. He's a fat know it all type who wears pooh bear sweatshirts, yet somehow still thinks everyone is beneath him) is on some type of blood disorder drug. According to him, if he drinks while on this med, which he says he's on for life, he'll die. Of course the lying fat fuck that he is, it's probably just an excuse not to drink at our parties because he'd likely pass out after a wine cooler or two.
