Frames are not blurred in dvds...in fact it makes me laugh.
have u even tried to do a screen capture of a favorite scene? Its perfect quality. How do u think (for instance) thos ecaptures on all those matrix fan sites come from.
or used flaskMPEG or vdgear (those that are in the divx community). Each scene is perfect.
VHS is blurred from inherit negatives in that particular format.
I love dvd and have no real opinion on vsynch stuff (except that who cares what others say...turn it on..then off...which ever YOU like better ..use that) but had to put in my 2 cents about the dvd
