What I want in 2013

I want a SGS4 with a Exynos 5 Octa SoC, 2GB ram, 720p non pentile screen or 1080p screen, removable battery and microsd slot.

Oh and I want that in the AT&T model I can get with a subsidy, not just the Int version, by July.

I'd bet money you get exactly that. 5" Pentile 1080p though, to keep pace in the number war.

With or without buttons? The 5" on the Sony Z/ZL includes the button space, so it's more like 4.7"...

I just put 1080P for HD movies without thinking about aspect ratio. I would prefer higher resolution like 2560x1600. Yeah, I prefer 16:10 over 16:9. I also like 4:3. I like using iPad and Touchpad.

I think the S Pen is a killer feature and that's why I want the Note. I absolutely do not want AOSP or the Nexus. I think Samsung is onto something with the Wacom digitizer and S pen. My next device is going to be some sort of Samsung Note.

Other than Samsung, who else makes removable batteries for any new phone? Seems like LG, HTC, and Motorola phones have all had non-removable batteries I think. So likely if any of these guys make the next Nexus, it'll also probably not have a removable battery like LG did with the current Nexus.

While no removable battery seems to be a manufacture choice, the no micro SD thing seems to be a mandate from Google, so that is obviously not going to happen unless Google makes a surprising change in attitude.

It's not a mandate by Google, no one really cares about what Google wants them to do. It's more of a cost cutting measure for others and for Google it's the result of the relations with M$.
