What is the difference between Overclocking

FSB and the L! bridge. Currently i am overclocking with FSB

A cpu's frequency is determined by external frequency X multiplier. So a Duron 800 (running at 100mhz fsb) is 8x100=800. Connecting the L1 bridges allows you to change the multiplier via the bios/jumper settings. Usually upping the multiplier is better because then you're not stressing other components in your system. It also usually means more stability.

so does this mean when I am overclokign FSb will mess up my computer

overclocking by fsb is more likely to damage system components, while overclocking my multiplier could really only damage the cpu itself unless you go way overboard.

Overclocking by the FSB s more dangerous because you are boosting the operating frquencies of the PCI, AGP bus etc.
And so your stressing your system more, and pushing the various cards beyond operating specifications. However it can also yield more of a performance boost than overclocking by the multiplier because with overclocking by multiplier you are only getting a higher clockspeed. Overclocking by FSB boosts many more variables.
