What is your favorite city?

I'd have to say Washington DC. When I was a senior in HS in 2004, our HS band (I was in the HS band and jazz band) went down to DC to march in the parade. (I believe it was the first parade after 9/11) The government picked two HS from each state to do this. My HS jazz band played in front of I think it was the Jefferson memorial. But anyway I fell in love with the city and have been itching to go back ever since.

I've lived in DC for my whole life "(30 years). It is a nice, relatively clean city with tons to do, but for god sake live if you move here live in the district so you can avoid dealing with the traffic. The traffic is the #1 reason I am relocating to Boston in August (not that Boston traffic is much better, but anythign is better than DC traffic)

I've been to a number of places throughout my relatively short life... (19 years) So far Vancouver, B.C. is pretty far up there.

I enjoyed snow skiing and other winter activities in Sandpoint, Id. Honestly North Idaho is a great place in any season if you enjoy the outdoors.

Concerning places I've lived....it's a toss up between Denver and Milwaukee. They're very similar in size. Denver has an overall younger and hipper crowd, but Milwaukee has a lot of cool history and the people are generally nicer. Denver has the mountains, Milwaukee has the lake and better fall colors.

I miss them both terribly.
