Whatever I'm drinking.

Really, I must have a dozen different beers in fridge right now. Beer of the month Club FTW.

What do I go back to that I know the beer store will be carrying? Probably Goose Island Honker's Ale or Shiner Black Lager.

Good beers to start expanding your tastes. Do what I've done: every time you go to the liquor store (and go to a real one) buy a "make your own" six pack, and pick six beers you've never tried before. You'll get to know what you like soon. And go back and retry things you didn't like before. I came around to liking IPA's after a year.

Isn't bud owned by a Belgian company now? Maybe the beer will get better.

I find I like lots of smaller "artisan" beers. Am I just a snob or is there a cohesive theme? I tend to think so. Beside the taste or lack of, most cheapo lagers give me a headache.

I wish I could brew my own beer. Some of my friends do and I find that home brewed beer so easy to drink. Never upsets my stomach or head and so much flavor.

Alabama has real fucking stupid beer laws, so I believe 93 of the top 100 beers on some poll can't be sold here.

But from what I've had, Boddington Pub Ale. Out of the country, the beer at the Hofbräuhaus.

Right now? Probably Anchor Porter. Pilsner Urquell is my favorite pilsner, but I also like Grolsch. I've been buying Warsteiner a lot lately, though, because a local place has it for 10 bucks a 12 pack. It's a pretty damn good German pilsner.

1. Zywiec
2. Pilsner Urquell
3. Anything else

No fine British Ales? I drank a whole lot of Bombadier when I lived in London.

I'm in college so I have to go with Yuengling, it's cheap, delicious, and available in a 24 pack of bottles. Blue Moon and Leinenkugel's sunset wheat are also very good.

that's not a beer fan, that's a drunk fan.

besides, considering the alcohol percentages, it takes at least 4 or 5 budlights to get you near the same level of a real Belgian. (I'm not a large guy, and I barely get a buzz off of 6 bud*)

once you think about it that way, price is negligible.

I usually stick to Sam Adams and their seasonal stuff (currently have a 12-pack of Octoberfest and a 6-pack of Black Lager). I also picked up a 6-pack of Guinness just since I've never had it before and it's also good (I wouldn't say my favorite, though).

Your ales are just about the only good thing that your little country still makes

Other than like birch beer, which isn't quite "beer" as you're thinking I'm sure.
