Haha you caught me before my ninja edit.....
Anyway, thanks for the info! Even though I can't make them tonight I ordered the marinade and sauce you linked to and can't wait to try it out. Thanks!

I can get the Kalbi sauce (first one) for like C$6 and the second one is around C$10 from local supermarket. Hell local Walmart carries them for a bit more. Amazon prices are crazy.

But I imagine it is a bit more challenging to find those in rural Illinois.

Yeah the prices did seem a little high but oh well. At least I know it is the right stuff. We do have a really nice Asian market in Peoria and I'm sure they would have it or something similar but I only get that way once every couple of months so Amazon it is. haha

I flew in to Peoria to drive a 2006 MB E350 4matic home Boxing Day 2008 xd.

I am sure you can find asian suppliers online with more reasonable prices.

I have a Taiwanese food importer 20min from my house. They are the ones supplying the local supermarkets with Taiwanese food/condiments.

Did the usual big game day thing by making homemade pizza and wings. Yeah it's cliché but it turned out awesome and tastes amazing.

The chicken wings and drumettes were dusted with a blend of herbs and spices then glazed with a Gochujang sauce and baked to perfection.

Getting ready to put the dough into the pan.

Final results turned out amazing!

we need to anandtech gofund you a better camera phone, so the few food pics you post come out better but we will also make it mandatory you post a food pic for all the delicious food you tell us you cook.

Equipment is not the issue here. My brother once said to me "How do you take picture like that, with a camera like that."

Tonight I made bean soup using the leftover broth from the cottage roll I cooked before.

I used 1 lb of navy beans, 3 stalks of celery, 1 small onion, 4 carrots and 3 cloves of garlic. Everything cut up bite sized. Seasoned with Italian seasoning, some ground cloves, some ground allspice, black pepper, salt and some fresh dill.

I added about a lb of chopped cottage roll.

This soup is phenomenal.

Grilled some chicken thighs with an awesome Korean bbq marinade that @sdifox recommended. Sides were some stir fry and a picked Taiwanese cabbage. Every thing turned out amazing and tasted even better than it looks.

Galbi marinade with a few extra ingredients added to enhance the flavor. The chicken marinaded for three days before it was grilled.

Here are the ingredients for the stir fry. Ham, shrimp, and shiitake mushrooms were the highlight ingredients.

All served up and ready to eat!
