I have 2 computers that get used. One came with Windows 98 when I purchased it years ago. It still works great for word processing, email, and surfing online. There would be absolutely no benefit to "upgrading" to a newer OS on that computer. Well, one benefit: walking around would be easier as my wallet would be slightly lighter. You're right about ME though; 98 is an upgrade from ME
