What the best case, beside Antec?

I just bought the Fong Kai FK-320 chassis (black). Gonna use it as my "test bed" PC. Never used Fong Kai before (I'm a die-hard SuperMicro fan myself), but it looks like a good chassis - with a decent price tag as well. Looking forward to toying around w/it.

I'm using a really cheap case, but it has great cooling (better than the Antec SX1030 that I replaced with this case):

It's the YY-5402. It has room for a 120mm intake and 120mm exhaust behind the cpu. Not too shabby for a $44 case (plus $14.04 shipping).

I don't like the 1 piece cover, but in terms of build quality and unmodded cooling ability, it's very difficult to beat for the price. My system temps are definitely cooler than my old SX1030 (which had 4 80mm fans), and it's quieter too.

gotta go with the supermicro/addtronics for the upper price limit-
And the enlight 7237 for those which dont need the more expensive case.
Ive built 6 machines now around the enlight 7237 and they are great, but not in the same class as the bigger addtronics 7896a-etc.

The Palo Alto PA-810 (%@#$%$#% Gateway 6400) is still coming. Alas, it probably won't arrive until Sept or something, but I'm learning the fine art of patience. $#@$#

For $44 plus shipping, I don't think there's a better stock cooling case than the YY-5402.

Yeong-Yang is a nice case in looks of fan sizes, it looks like it has a small vent there for a big 120mm fan to flow through, thats my biggest complaint about that case. Reason why i perfer the Chenbro Genie, has nice open vents as the Antec, and the Palo Alto does. 3 all attractive looking cases too, just wish the palo alto or chenbro came in black..grrr!

I JUST bought a Inwin Q500 Full tower from directron, and should be having some fun modding it. My current case is a Lian Li PC-60 that I paid a boatload to have anodized blue/green. Unfortunately, it just wasn't big enough for me. Probably end up selling the Lian down the road...

For under $100 US I don't think anything will touch a Fong Kai...either model. Both are excellent Quietcases. For the serious cooling freak, I would have to go with the Chenbro Genie. I replaced my Addtronics 6896 with it and have never looked back. I think the best item with the Genie is the seperate "cage" for the hard drives up high in the case vented by a dedicated 92mm fan. I would recommend that it your serious you check into Jim's stuff over at coolcases.com
