Panera bread bowl filled with broccoli & cheese. It's soooo good to be back on gluten & dairy again

Plus a Cadbury egg for dessert :sneaky:

Did I miss something? How can you eat gluten when you previously couldn't?

Sushi tonight.

Tomorrow night is Thai with a chicken theme - chicken satay and tom kha gai.

Edit: And, yes, I imagine it will taste like chicken.

There's a couple good Thai restaurants around here so I've read in the local newspaper. I should check them out. I never really had Thai food except for a Thai salad which was pretty good.

Try copious amounts of Thai food asap. Thai is all about a balance between sweet, salty, sour, and spicy. When done right it is most amazing. Thai and Vietnamese are two of my favorite Asian cuisines.

Seriously. Start out with some fried dumplings & yellow curry soup with chicken, potatoes, and carrots. And shrimp. Oh the shrimp!

Yes, thanks to the magic of modern medicine. The root cause of my particular food allergies is something called SIBO, which is a relatively recent discovery in the world of medicine. There is no permanent treatment yet, but they have some short-term medicines you can cycle through to see what works. Longest has lasted 5 weeks, shortest has lasted 2 days. I can basically digest food properly for a period of time when I find one that works, so it doesn't matter what I eat...dairy, gluten, corn, anything I want, until my system gets unbalanced again (which happens regardless of diet). Again, no permanent cure yet, but when the treatment is working, I don't die when I eat gluten or dairy, which is amazing.

Lots of interesting "normal" side effects with it. I've never felt full in my life...it was a new experience not needing to eat anymore after having a meal. I got energy after eating instead of pain or fatigue. I could eat donuts for breakfast and feel good, instead of needing to lay down & taking a nap. I've never felt good after eating & I've always been either hungry, or had pain from too much food because, comparing my stomach to a blender, it wasn't blending properly.

Huge gamechanger. It's nice to feel good throughout the course of an entire day now

Oh! A roast beef hero sounds delish! But since it's the Chinese new year, Chinese food sounds good too. But alas, I at a sandwich.

Gang Pa and sticky rice.

End of.

Have a really good Thai place near us, I like the Shrimp with Drunken Noodles.

But a few other things the wife likes also, the place has heat preferences. The last time I ordered they asked "are you sure"

Have a good Chinese place even closer, have been trying some new things out there lately.

I had lamb ribs with an orange and jalapeno glaze for dinner last night. Tonight I am thinking pizza.

Two cordon bleu's, and corn. I usually make herb stove top stuffing to go with it, but alas I had none. I did have Mac & Cheese, but didn't want to dirty yet another dish as I have a mound of work to do tonight and I hate washing dishes. Which leads me to believe I'm in need for a woman! Someone that can cook & clean for me.

Tomorrow night will be a Jeeebus specialty... octopus, shrimp, and scallops in a tomato sauce. About 5 hours of cooking goodness to tender up the octopus. Served over linguine.
